The perimeter cover reduces the risk of falls and entrapment. It fits all standard-size hospital mattresses as well as standard 8” alternating air mattresses. The SG-U fits snug with three quick-release straps (positioned top, bottom and middle) that connect underneath the mattress. The quilted top is water resistant and has a covered foam border that rises approximately 4’ above the mattress surface and is sloped inward to reduce the risk of roll outs.
