Safety features include the Aqualert alarm to detect overflow, low vacuum alarm to detect dressing leaks, low battery alarm to prevent power interruptions, single lumen sensing technology to help protect against high vacuum conditions.Consistent with BlueSky Medicals product line, the V1STA uses lower, safer, less painful vacuum levels. It also features simpler dressing changes that are easy to teach. Its antimicrobial gauze also allows for fewer dressing changes. Our pump can be disconnected for longer periods of time (up to 4 hours), giving patients freedom and mobility. We carry a variety of drains - one for every type of wound, including tunnels.
